Xi'an Simo TK Series Large Three-Phase Synchronous Motors for Compressors Overview

The Xi'an Simo TK series large three-phase synchronous motors for compressors are suitable for driving reciprocating air compressors. They are designed for indoor environments with ambient temperature below 40°C, minimal dust, and free from steam, acid, alkali or other corrosive gases and explosive gases.

The TK series motors feature IP00 protection class and IC01 cooling method. Other protection classes and cooling methods can be negotiated with customers. The motor structure and installation type can be manufactured as IM7311 and IM5710 according to compressor requirements, or customized based on user needs.

The TK series motors have a rated voltage of 6000V (can be made for 10000V) with allowable voltage deviation range of ±5%. The power supply frequency is 50Hz with rated power factor of 0.9 (leading). The rotation direction is clockwise when viewed from the collector ring end, which can be changed as required with corresponding modification of the cooling fan.

The TK series motors' rated power levels include: 250, 320, (350), 400, 500, (550), 630, 800, 1000, (1120), 1250, (1400), 1600, (1800), 2000, (2000), 2500, (2800), 3200, (3600), 4000kW, etc. Rated speed levels include: 500, 428, 375, 333, 300, 300, 250r/min, etc.

Xi'an Simo TK series large three-phase synchronous motors for compressors comply with JB/T8667.1-1997 "Technical Specifications for TK Series Large Three-Phase Synchronous Motors" and GB 755 "Basic Technical Requirements for Rotating Electrical Machines".

The TK series synchronous motors use static thyristor excitation systems. The motors allow full-voltage direct starting, or reduced-voltage starting when grid capacity doesn't permit full-voltage starting.

The TK large AC three-phase synchronous motors for air compressors feature:

• Steel plate welded frame structure with base

• IP00 protection class

• IC01 self-ventilated cooling (can be made as IC37 pipe ventilation)

• IM7311 mounting type or IM5710 without shaft and pedestal bearings

• S1 duty type

• Y-connected stator winding

• Class F insulation (assessed as Class B)

The stator uses 0.5mm thick low-loss silicon steel laminations with directional ventilation slots. The stator winding uses formed double-layer short-pitch coils with Class F insulation.
